For students wanting to pursue a future in the military, our academy is also America’s only private institution to offer an elite Air Force JROTC program. Our AFJROTC program teaches students about developing excellent character and leadership. The program is also built around the three core values of the Air Force: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. Our goal is for our students to become the best possible individuals, thrive during their college years, and discover the power of rise.

he foundation of the AFJROTC Program at R-MA is also built on four key objectives:
- Teaching cadets about responsibility, self-discipline, and character
- Education and training on good character development
- Emphasizing and promoting community service and its importance
- Instructing cadets in air and space fundamentals
- Our curriculum teaches cadets about air power development, the aerospace environment, aerospace vehicles, the heritage of flight, human requirements of flight, and navigation and aircraft flight principles
- Cadets also learn about the aerospace industry, the space environment, space programs and technology, propulsion, and rocketry
- Field trips to aerospace facilities and industries, museums, and military bases
- Participation in drill competitions, parades, community activities, and leadership schools
- Opportunities to learn about life skills, team-building, survival skills, first aid, management, effective communication, and more
